Looking back I can’t believe the life I’ve left behind
Expectations and dreams, quickly changed with time
The life I wanted was taken away, everything has changed
The hardest thing to except, is I’m the only one to blame

I know where I went wrong, I can’t explain why
Life had the answers, I just had to try

It’s been so long and I fallen so far, I’m no longer in control
I’ve stared into the face of death, as it ripped into my soul
I climbed back up just to lose again, I watch my life unfold
I don’t Fucking need your help, or all the lies it holds

Desire to live, a passion for life, it all seems fake to me
Trapped again in my mind, I will never break free
People have tried & tried again, to show me that they care
No matter how hard they try, my life will be unfair

Tell me what it takes to move on, I’ve heard it all before
Give me the skills I need & I’ll destroy my life some more
The harder I try to live my life , the more it knocks me down
